My all-time favourite muppet is Grover -- loveable, furry and cute. He is bashful, but so genuine. Every time I hear his voice I'm reminded of the way my mum used to imitate him while reading The Monster at the End of This Book to me as a kid, like I'm instantly transported back to a simpler time whenever I see him. She grew up with these characters, too, and loves them just as much as I do-- and I think that's why I feel so sentimental about them all. But especially Grover. I really like Grover.
